Home Brew Concentrate – Makes 40 Pints

 

Geordie Lager is a light, refreshing beer with a tangy continental taste. Made from natural ingredients: malt, hops and barley. It’s sparkling and light gold in colour, ideally served straight from the fridge. It is satisfying to drink and equally satisfying to make.

Geordie Liquid Kits are the simplest way to brew. The wort has already been brewed from malted barley and hops, concentrated and canned. All you need to do is mix it with water, sugar OR beer kit enhancer and add the yeast. Once fermentation is complete (approx. 7 days) transfer to bottles/ barrel, wait 10 days and drink!

In most cases orders placed before 11am will be dispatched the same day, please allow longer during busier periods and for special order items. After 11am we may still manage to dispatch the same day, and always do our best to send orders out as quickly as possible.

Free shipping is by standard courier and may take longer than the Express Courier option, for urgent orders please select the 'Express Courier' service which is tracked

Express 1-2 working day shipping is available for all items for £5.95 to eligible postcodes

We use Parcelforce for our courier deliveries and the parcel usually needs to be signed for. If for any reason you are out or unable to take the delivery, the couriers may attempt to leave your parcel with a neighbour for you and put a card through your door. If they are unable to deliver the parcel, when possible it will be taken to your local Royal Mail sorting office or Post Office, or they will re-attempt delivery the next working day for you. A calling card will be left with details of where the parcel is. Estimated time slots will be introduced soon to help with delivery. You can enter an alternative shipping address at the checkout such as your place of work, etc, if you know you will be out, or we can add a delivery note to your parcel such as 'Please leave with a neighbour' or 'Please leave in porch' if you email us any specific delivery instructions after placing the order and we are more than happy to add them to your parcel for you. Parcelforce will follow any instructions whenever possible but it is at the discretion of the delivery driver and cannot be guaranteed.

IMPORTANT - For urgent orders you must select the tracked courier option, the Royal Mail service is slower and not tracked, and can in some cases take much longer. In the case of any problems, courier deliveries can be resolved much more quickly. Please always check at your local sorting office where Royal Mail will take any parcel they cannot deliver for any reason.

Shipping prices are calculated automatically and are limited to a maximum charge of £5.95 for most UK postcodes 

Orders under 2kgs in weight can usually be sent by Royal Mail, but over 2kgs may need to be sent by courier

Returns

Can I return my order?
We want you to be 100% happy with your order from Home Brew Online and have total confidence ordering from us. We will accept returns for the usual reasons detailed below. When returning any item to us it is essential to complete our Online Returns Form to enable us to process it as effectively as possible.

What do I do if I receive the wrong item?
Please email or call us to inform us of the mistake and we will resolve ASAP for you, and advise how to return the incorrect item(s) where necessary.

What do I do if my order arrives damaged?
Please email or call us to inform us of the damage and we will advise how to return the damaged/broken item(s) where necessary. If an order arrives damaged it is usually easiest to accept the delivery and we will send you replacement items.

What do I do if my order is faulty when it arrives?
Please email or call us to inform us of the fault and we will provide details of how to return the faulty item(s) where necessary, and arrange for a replacement if needed.

What do I do if my order develops a fault after it has been used?
Please email or call us to inform us of the fault and we will provide details of how to return the incorrect item(s) where necessary. Guarantees vary but we will help you wherever possible with a faulty product, please do not dispose of the item until the problem has been resolved as it may need to be returned for testing etc. 

What do I do if I change my mind about something when it arrives?
Please email us and we will give details of how to return the unwanted item. Items can be returned up to 30 days from date of delivery. Orders over the Christmas period can be returned until the end of January. Items returned due to no fault of our own incur a 10% re-stocking fee. Postage paid for the delivery of your order is non-refundable. Your remaining refund will be credited after the returned goods have been checked over. Please do not return goods which aren't in their original, re-saleable condition. We won’t send out items to other customers that have been returned and aren't in perfect condition. Any items returned which are not in perfect, original condition won’t be credited so please ensure adequate packing methods are used.

Can I return my item personally?
Yes, if you live nearby and it is more practical to hand deliver an item we can arrange this on an individual basis.

Who pays the return postage costs?
If the order needs to be returned because of a fault or a mistake on our part then your postage costs will be refunded. We will refund reasonable costs up to the value of 1st Class Royal Mail recorded. If the order is returned because it wasn't suitable or you changed your mind the postage costs are your responsibility. Returned items are your responsibility until we receive them so please use an appropriate service such as Royal Mail recorded. If an item is going to cost more than £15 to return please let us know as this is our maximum postage credit amount, we will arrange for collection in these circumstances.

How will I know if you have received my returned item?
You will automatically receive a confirmation email when your returned item is received.

How long will my return take to process?
We aim to process your return as quickly as possible and usually complete them within a week. Please allow slightly longer at seasonal peaks.

How will I know when my return is completed?
You will receive an email to update you when your return is completed to let you know either that your replacement product is on its way or that your refund has been processed.

2 Wouldn't brew again

Did this a while back as my first brew in ages and I have to say it is not a great kit. Very very pale with minimal taste. Compared to other kits such as Coopers stuff it really is hard to recommend.

2 Hmmmmm

Wasnt overly keen on this.... was only my 2nd go at hombrewing but didnt taste of anything really... quite disapointed but you win some and you lose some so im not overly fussed! I will however try this again with a little less water to try and get a little more taste and i will bottle it hoping to

get some more fizz than the barrel i used this time! Dont be put off by my comments, it could of been bad water i used.... unsterilised equipment ..... residue from steriliser etc etc! it could have been my fault it turned out like it did! try anyway!
