Nicer than a pub pint!!!

After reading loads of 5 star reviews, I decided to give this a go and im glad i did. The instructions are easy to follow and after a long primary fermentation the sediment compacts so nothing gets syphoned into secondary. I opted to use a pressure barrel which in all honesty delivers a pint that is far superior than the cask ale at my local. Its Hoppy, sweet and extremely easy to drink (i have a hangover). The next time i brew this kit im going to bottle just to see if it makes much of a difference. If you like real ale then you will love the subtle elderflower flavour this has to offer!!

Festival Golden Glory LTD Edition

This beer kit is amazing. Simply easy to do. Make sure equipment is clean etc.. Follow the instructions for the first part. Once the lid is on your fermenting bucket, leave it for around 21 days not the 10-14 stated in the instructions. After 21 days I transfered the contents of the fermenting bucket to my little bottler bucket. I then left for another 3 weeks until it was clear enough to bottle. This was done using 1 carbonation drop in each bottle. Was absolutly crystal clear after two more weeks. Before sampling the first bottle. I Slightly chilled the bottle down to around 12c amazing. If you like a hoppy and citrus kind of beer then you will not go far rong with this.

Anticipation

Not in the habit of reviewing kits before they've matured but having used the Festival Summer Ale kits before, had to try the special edition & its inclusion of Elderflower essence to give its entitled twist. maybe I'll return in 3Mths time to let you now how \I got on , but by then I guess the Limited Edition would have expired ?

Delicious

I've brewed a number of the excellent Festival range and this one is delicious and probably my favourite. A lovely light colour which was clear almost as soon as it went into the bottle. Hope it's not a Ltd Edition.
