Quality kit ! Ignore the kit instructions on times though ! and buy a back up yeast !

Followed instructions to the letter . Yeast was close to its date and did nothing . Luckily I had a spare . Started at 1050 at 24 deg . Then it stuck at 1020 . Gave it a couple of gentle swirls without opening . Three weeks later still rapidly bubbling ! Then one night it stopped . Tested at 1008 so bottled . A month later it's clear and carbonated but too immature to drink . Just ignore the times in the instructions and buy a backup yeast .

Simple to brew

Extremely easy to brew. Two can and away you go. Been in a barrel for 4 weeks but has not cleared as yet. Nice taste of citrus and I feel it will need a while yet to mature.Ideal as a easy drinking beer.

Simple to brew

Bought this kit as it was on offer. Brewed following the instructions and have not added anything in addition to what was supplied as this is the first of the Muntons kit I have brewed. Simple to follow instructions and it has now n been in the barrel for 4 weeks. Had a taste today (4weeks) and it has all the hall marks of an enjoyable easy drinking beer. Still cloudy but is clearing. Will give it another 3-4 weeks to clear. Overall nice clean crisp citrus taste. Will buy another

Midas Touch

Very fast acting aggressive yeast, made up to 23litres put on heat mat, woke up in middle of the night to check and found the lid had blown off my FV!. I strongly recommend reducing to 20lites, left for 3 more days problem free until it reached the reading I required. Result was a very nice very strong brew. Well happy except for cleaning the mess up in the middle of the night! Will defo do again.

Recommended

This is a quality brew. As usual the hardest bit is being patient as it is improving all the time in the bottle. It's not as light golden coloured as on the labelling and actually I'm quite pleased about that. I've got some Norfolk Nog on the go which will make a lovely contrast for my home brew sceptical friends.

Excellent Pale Ale

Light, crisp beer with a bitter hoppy taste. Mine tastes excellent already and it's only just cleared (been a few weeks since fermentation). I know in a few more weeks to a month this will be like nectar. That's if any makes it that long. At this rate I'd give it about a week!
