Was using the old granulated sugar method which is not very accurate so tried a bag before and found they did work very well and have a nice head , so will continue to use these

I bought these, just to see how it went. Having used them a couple of times, I won't be going back. They just make life so simple. Ok, so there's not a big difference between measuring a bit of sugar and popping a drop in, but when you've got to do it to 40 bottles, it makes a massive difference. Much quicker and no mess.

Bought these for my first home brew and they are quick and easy to use. The resulting beer has a good level of carbonation for a light ale (1 drop/500ml bottle).

They're too large and make the beer in half litre bottles fizz out and mix the sediment. They're also too hard to break in half.

not convinced by these. convenient for brewing in bottles yes, but left with an inferior taste to remainder of brew (I brewed half in bottles with these drops and other half in barrel with brewing sugar for comparison) - barrel with brewing sugar was far far better. only ranked two stars due to the convenience at bottling stage. HBO Note - the drops are sugar but in a different form and shouldn't really affect the taste, some beers do seem to condition better in a barrel and turn out smoother, light and temperature can also have an effect on the finished beer

Perfect addition when bottling beer.

The drops are excellent. They give the perfect amount of carbonation with no messing around. Far easier than weighing out sugar.

Easy to put into plastic beer bottles, 2 for larger bottles. Beer was well carbonated

Makes priming your bottle SO much easier and produces good results.

Great carbonating drops but two per bottle makes the beer a little too fizzy for my taste (specially in winter) and one is not quite enough. But it is so much easier to use than sugar.
