Festval Cider

Makes a superb cider which when aged is very like Henry Westons Vintage. Only trouble is letting it get that old before you scoff the lot!

Festival Oakes cider - excellent fresh and better than magnets!!

Great cider, packed with fruit, and wood chips for depth-cracking cider. Good instructions and all sugar including priming sugar included...nothing else needed to buy

Easy to make and seriously nice to drink. I have made two batches of this and the major difficulty is keeping it as it is so popular. Not sure why but ciders take longer for the "teaspoon of sugar" added when bottling to add "fizz" than beer so I would suggest that you leave it for at least another two weeks for this. Strong at 8.4%.

Lovely Cider

Here at Home Brew Online we have sampled this cider and were very impressed. Contrary to the previous review we found it to have a very subtle oak flavour which really complimented this refreshing cider. It is medium dry and has a very authentic flavour with no artificial flavours. There are a lot of cider kits to choose from but we would certainly recommend giving this one a try!

festival apple oaked cider

This is my first kit cider I have made. The instructions were clear and easy as with there ales etc. The oak chips made a difference to the end resalts,i also like the option of adding them if you wanted to. Next time I will not add them to see how different it tastes. As for the % is as strong as any cider you buy. The time from bottling & second ferm to clearing took about a week,so very quick. Although it can be drunk as soon as it has cleard I would probably leave it a bit longer.Dont worry about the sediment making the cider cloudy it just happens when you open fizzy cider,it doesn't make any real tasting difference just adds body.

Wooden cider

If you’ve never tasted liquid wood and you think you'd like to, then you should go for this one. OAKED is a good name, but TOTALLY OAKED is better. This wooden bitter taste absolutely dominated the taste of this cider. For me it’s disgusting. It’s been smelled great from the start, very appley nice smell, but unfortunately the final taste has nothing to do with apples. It’s a shame I didn’t foresee that, if so I wouldn’t have added oak chips, but would it be OAKED CIDER any more?
