Top stuff

I've started to use this instead of sugar for additions and priming. It gives a much better taste to the beer, and seems to speed up fermentation.

Semms to work

Used this a couple of times. Seems to work well but mix well to stop lumps from forming.

Adds some depth to the brew

I added 250g of spraymalt to my 3kg kit (I know I don't need to as the sugars are already contained in the malt kit). However, this has increased the ABV of my brew slightly and has given the beer more depth of flavour.

spraymalt

SPRAYMALT LIGHT

I've used this in one of the cheaper kits and I have to say it is a great way to add a bit more flavour into the budget kits. Only downside is the lumps it forms when poured into the fermenter too quickly. It's fine when poured VERY slowly.

Spraymalt Light

I've used both sugar and Spraymalt Light, to be truthful I can't tell the difference

Beware adding to hot mix

I poured this Spraymalt to a mix last night - at the stage where I'd just added a couple of litres of boiling water to the beer kit - the malt immediately turned into large popcorn-like lumps. I spent 20 minutes pulling them out and breaking them up. Will update you on results!

totally better than sugar

With out any doubt the beer from my kit brew was considerably better when using spraymalt than when i used sugar like i used to. i will not be going back
