Quaffable

Tastes like a £22.20, 7 day, wine kit. A bit thin, looks like a rose almost, a little sweet (not in a bad way) but certainly doesn't taste anything like a cab sauv. Compared to the California Connoisseur £43.95 and the Beaverdale £39.47 it doesn't taste as "winey" (is that a word?) but surprisingly just as drinkable (particularly out of the fridge). You get what you pay for (and it's only 7 days - although we did it over 14). Would we get it again? Probably.

Excellent every day wine.

As said in previous reviews - I can hardly keep up with the demands for this wine from family and friends. At about 70p a bottle it is just perfect and not too strong.

Good easy drinking wine.

Easy to make, easy too drink, not too strong - good party wine. Give your guests this after they've had a couple - they'll be happy.

Good easy drinking wine.

Easy and relatively quick to make. I've found that de-gassing the wine really helps the fining process. Not too strong at about 12%.

Simple Easy Drinking Red.

I've made this wine many times and at under a £ a bottle it is always present on my rack. Not too strong, so great for party times.

Perfect match for WineBuddy Sauvignon Blanc.

I can't fault this kit. Easy to make and far too easy to drink, but at about 11-12%abv, that's not a problem.

Very pleasant

Light tasting red wine, not a deep tasting red.

Aa bit on the thin side

Not too bad really but looked more like a Rose than a red Could be because a lot of the red stuff ended up sticking to the underside of the lid of my fermenting bin

WineBuddy Cabernet Sauvignon - 30 bottle

Easy to make and enjoy. Great for parties! It is not too strong and at under a pound a bottle it is great value. I have not had any negative comments at all - even from 'serious' wine drinkers.

WineBuddy Cab Sauv

Simple no frills kit. Wine bottled just over a week ago and it is perfectly acceptable for the price. I'll certainly buy again.

As good as the best.

I have been making wine for over thirty years, and this is without doubt the best I have ever made. Very simple and explicit instructions. A beautiful full bodied wine that my friends can`t wait to drink. Excellent value for money, What more could you want except a glass to drink it in

Good cheap red

I expected a cheap and possibly slightly chemical-tasting red and bought the 30 bottle pack so that I could experiment with one or two gallons. I used 4kg of ordinary supermarket white sugar, deliberately left out the stabiliser, racked twice and bottled in demijohns which I shook to remove gas. The result was a quite pleasant red with reasonable body and I have ordered another lot. Can't say the taste is definitely Cab Sauv but it is very drinkable. Trouble is, at less than £1 a bottle, it is very tempting to have one or two glasses more.
